Could I have slow-played this better?
Fairly weak-tight 1-2 table on Paradise
Holding A [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] on the button, 2 limpers to me, I limp, blinds are in, 5 see the flop of 3 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] The action is non-existant, all check to me. Do I bet or check and hope someone will get a hand on the turn? I bet, lost all but the BB, who check-called me all the way to the river with K [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] |

Thats the breaks
You played it correctly. You might as well bet. Someone with a monster would check in that spot.

Re: Could I have slow-played this better?
With that many seeing the flop and only two cards in the deck that remotely scare you, I think this is a pretty easy check. There's a pretty good chance someone will take a stab at it on the turn.

i like it. you wouldnt have collected off the others anyways. but id be suprised if they put you on that hand. no way. your bet could easily be a draw.

Re: Could I have slow-played this better?
The fact that you had the ace killed most of the potential for action. Tough break on a monster hand. At least the guy with the king was there to chase you down.
