Re: tx rooms?
I would keep in mind these things regarding poker in texas...
1. you are going to be playing in illegal home games (if it's any kind of real money). The legitimacy, honesty, and quality of these games should be real suspect unless you know the hosts well. 2. texas cops are ASS-FRIGGING-HOLES (please do feel very free to quote me on that for all eternity) and these games will probably not be at all legal in that bass-akwards bible belt of a hellhole of a state (I tried to be nice about how I said it). Get busted and you might be in a world of hurt, not to mention the cops will probably take all your money and go buy their own beer and wiskey with it after they throw you in jail on trumped up charges. If you live in texas your best bet is a trip to louisiana, or play on the internet. al |

Re: tx rooms?
Al your mostly right. Right now we only have 1 legal casino in Texas. It's down near the mexico border on an indian reservation. It does spread some poker, but right now the name of the casino and the limits escape me.
But for the most part it's either $0 rake home games or illegal backroom games. [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

Re: tx rooms?
The room is at the kickapoo indian reservation in eagle pass texas and it is now a nice room with quite a few tables. They just built a new casino this year and it is pretty nice, they have a decent choice of games but I dont know exactly what they spread so a call in advance would be a good idea.
