Default card shufflers

I'm lazy and I don't trust people, wether it be poor shuffling skills or trying to cheat etc etc

I have 2 questions

A) is it worth having a card shuffler?
B) anybody reccomend any card shufflers on the market?

No, unless you want to run a REALLY slow game. Anyone can shuffle a deck faster than a card shuffler.

Nothing on the market today is worth anything. The only shufflers available for less than 10k are slower than most people.

This has been discussed in detail here before, try the search feature.

Always have someone other than the dealer cut the cards.

Always!

(Best way is for the dealer to put down the cards with his right hand when done shuffling, then have the person on the right cut.)

There are no mid-range shufflers available. Just the crappy ones (the ones you see when searching ebay for 'shuffler') and ones that are $11K+. I am in the process of developing one for the home market. I will be updating the thread here with updates as they happen.

I had a shuffler for about 20 minutes and I returned that cheap crap instantly, but others may like it.

The best way is to use two decks. Most quality cards are sold two at a time. A player deals and then gathers and shuffles while the next hand is being dealt. After shuffling, pass two to the left. That dealer will cut then deal.

The only shufflers I've seen are the ones that go on the list we made around Christmas of poker crap no self respecting poker player would ever buy themselves.

Using 2 decks has nothing to do with who cuts, IMO.
