Hi, kinda to the forum...my first hand post!
Pac 2/4 5-handed Hero is Button with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts, UTG limps, Hero limps, SB raises, BB folds, UTG calls, CO (poster) folds, I call. three to the flop (8 sb). No good reads, besides that most ppl on pac are on the loose side. Flop is 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets out, UTG calls, Hero calls. I have 6 outs, pot is laying me 10:1, so this is a call? I considered raising, but it doesn't knock anybody out and only pumps the pot when i'm not sure i have the best hand. Plus, if I raise, bettor may 3-bet, which isn't good for me since i want to see the turn for cheap, right? my outs are to the semi-nuts, so kicking out UTG doesn't help me either. Turn is J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets out again, UTG calls again (7.5 BB). Here I was pretty sure I was beat, with two players in to boot. At the time I thought i had implied odds to hit, but after thinking about it i'm not sure anymore, as _maybe_ my 6s weren't clean, and plus now there is a 2 flush. River is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB bets again, UTG now folds, Hero calls (9.5 BB). With UTG folding, I only have to beat the bettor, and with the big pot it seems like i have to call? most ppl would not play overcards this way, betting into a field of three on a coordinated board, but I have seen stranger things. anyway, thats my analysis, thx for any comments. |

Raise the flop. There's a good chance SB has 2 overcards. He might fold when you bet the turn, and you can charge the other guy more if he's on a draw.
