So my buddy gave my AOL IM a vrus...(or something like it)
Last night my buddy sent me a link, something like "Check this out! It's hilarious. http://ebaumsworld.com/dumbass" So i opened it, and wasn't treally thinking and clicked the "run program" button when it popped up. Nothing happened for about 5 mionutes and then all of a sudden I start sending the exact same link to everyone on my buddy list. At first I thought it was just a harmless program that did this once, but then a little while later it happened again, and then again.
I've run Norton and Ad-aware but those programs didn't detect this program that's messed up my AIM. Have any of you heard of this/gotten it/know how to fix it? thanks. |
