Re: Ever slowplay this?
if you play from 1:00-4:00 on party EST you may want to consider slowplaying occasionally. I was able to raise UTG and take down the blinds today until I did the results-oriented thing (got even) and left in disgust. Waiting to pop the turn can be useful sometimes too.

in .50/1, you must completely disregard the notion of slowplaying. [/ QUOTE ] wrong and bet the flop |

Re: Ever slowplay this?
Why would you not bet this flop?

Re: Ever slowplay this?
Bet.
AA is just a pair and he'll probably call. Giving free cards against single pairs is bad. |

Re: Ever slowplay this?
Since you raised preflop, I would bet this fairly non-threatening flop. Probably won't scare BB off for one more small bet.
I would probably not have raised preflop though. I would be unhappy holding AA and losing the last potential caller to a raise. |

Re: Ever slowplay this?
Absolutey I raise away. I raise every street and definatly cap the flop if I can. If I get repoped on the turn I may slow down. Let this guy know you like your hand.

If you let the BB check it, you open yourself for a possibly expensive hand. |

Re: Ever slowplay this?
Sometimes bet, sometimes CR, sometimes check/call. Vary your play so your opponent won't know what to put you on. Most of the times you should bet for future hands, especially if this is the first "steal" vs this opponent. If he raises, sometimes (most of the times) 3-bet but sometimes CR the turn.
