Re: Running bad, some typical hands
I'm sorry you're "running bad" but you played these hands very poorly. 4-handed you MUST raise AJ, small blind or not. I have no idea why you played so passive on the AK hand, what do you see him having on the river to beat you? i take it from your title he backdoored a flush or something but you make far more by raising at some point, if not every street, in this hand.
Hand 3 just doesn't need to happen. You will make plenty flopping sets that you don't need to hemorrhage cash when you haven't. |

Re: Running bad, some typical hands
ok, so Hand 3, you think I would be better of just folding to the bet or calling? I think you are right about the AJ hand, I had some sort of silly thinking that I didn't want a weaker ace to fold or something.

Re: Running bad, some typical hands
On hand 3 you should raise the flop and/or river and possibly fold to a river reraise by BB.

Re: Running bad, some typical hands
I think you are talking about hand 2, the AK hand?

Re: Running bad, some typical hands
Oh...yeah...always fold on hand 3 there...I say again, you'll make so much with flopped sets versus aggressive overcard holding opponents or overpairs that "feeling around" with what is a middle pair just isn't worth it.
