Default Online poker

What do you think about these ideas for improvement in online sites?

1. Deal making ability for tournaments (some sort of pop up box)

2. Ability to show one and only one card after an uncalled bet

3. As a way to reduce rake, companies could purchase advertising on the cards/tables for poker sites

Also, do you think the WSOP will ever be played online? I think its highly doubtful but possible maybe 7-10 years down the line if poker keeps growing.

1. Seems impractical. Doesn't affect me as I would not make a deal anyway at anytime.

2. I really wish this was possible. Would make an excellent addition. But for now not showing anything is fine by me.

3. Never happen. Why reduce rake and add advertising when you can add advertising and leave rake where it is? Which generates more money for the site?

As for the WSOP, having it online will kill everything about it and destroy any and all tradition that goes with it. They still carry the money in cardboard boxes for crying out loud, do you really think they are gonna whore themselves out to an online poker room? And how are you gonna broadcast an online tournament in Prime Time? I guess the first day could be done online to facilitate the process of getting to a manageable number of people. But the rest would have to remain a live game or as I said, it will be ruined as the premiere tournament...

so the site can do some new promo along the lines of "now with reduced rake!" this idea doesn't seem bad. it would be awesome if party tried this out.

Not the actual WSOP, but mebbe a series of bigger buy-in tournaments? How long until we see a $10k buy-in event that is exclusively online?

espn, nbc purchase or spend a lot of money to "air" the tournament on tv.Then Espn and NBC sell off the commerical time. If the WSOP goes on-line i truly believe it will be getting towards the end of poker. Because it is hard for viewers to watch and enjoy the tournaments. And will not be easily viewed when compared to turning on a tv and sitting on a comfortable couch.
