I just folded 88 in UTG+2 to a raise from a tight player. I don't know why I did, just haven't been playing that hand well. What's my play in that spot ? Had I been later in the table I know how to play that. But that in UTG+2 really messed me up.

It's probably pretty close. I'd fold against a TAG in EP, 3-bet an MP open raiser. You have to consider that not only are you behind his range of UTG raising hands, but there are still 8 people left to act, and they will ocassionally make a big hand too. So even if you are able to use position and aggression to outplay the TAG to earn a little value here, the other players may prevent this from being +EV.

awesome thanks for the explanation. I think I just don't trust my ability to play a board with overcards where I may still be best. So for now the fold is standard when I feel it's this close.
