Are you saying that you think 3betting here against typical players is the most +EV move? I would think that if he had just raised the turn then it would be different. But he check-raised the turn, and that deserves a little more respect. Obviously not enough respect to fold your top two, but I don't think a 3bet is good here.

Depending on the villian and how he plays, he might not cap the turn if we are beat. If he doesn't cap the turn with a flush, 3-betting is probably the best play in this spot. Part of your advice is read-dependent, which the OP already said villain just sat down. w/o reads, i see nothing wrong with calling down after the c/r. |
