nh.

There were so many bets missed in this hand, it's cause for alarm. So he had one of the 2 specific holdings that beat you (J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]). There's no way to know that certain enough not to 3-bet this river.

And missing the flop bet is ludicrous.

Bodhi, you and joker are right.

That's why I am glad to have found this place. I should have been ramming this all the way. I would have gone down in flames on this one, but you're right, more times than not I'm leaving an extra BB on the table by not 3 betting the river.

I didn't mind dropping the hand. I just for the life of me didn't get his line on the turn if he thought his set of jacks were losing to a set of kings.

Because he was actually too busy wiping up his lap when he flopped his set to put you on any hand? The post-hand commentary was him rubbing your nose in it, nothing more.

After three betting pre-flop, why not lead the flop against lag boy? Also, you should be raising the river with third nuts right (only behind JJ and the unlikely QTs)?

Also, he didn't know WTF you had when you checked the flop. It just makes him feel good to act like he did. And as you pointed out, if he really did, he would have folded his set of jacks immediately since he'd know he had ONE out.
