I hope all of you go to that strip club and spend lots of money. That company owes at least ONE company over a 100k. Every time I drive by that places it appears to be dead.
There is NOTHING to do in Tunica besides the casinos. I would agree with the rest that Memphis is the place to go... Peabody Place and Beale Street are good bets. Just leave the casino turn north on hwy 61 and keep going until you cross Beale St. Turn right on Peabody Place then turn left into the parking garage. Get out of the parking garage and walk tothe south. There are several bars and clubs to hit. If you're there on a Thursday night then a cool place to hit is "The Peabody rooftop party". It starts about 6pm on Thursday night. After that (about 9-10pm) everyone hits the bars. |

The only nice thing in Tunica aside from casinos is the road that leads to Memphis.

The only other thing not mentioned here is the outlet shopping malls right across from the turn-in to the Horshoe and Goldstrike casinos. Pretty good, especially if you have gf/wife with you and she doesn't gamble. I even got some pretty nice shoes there myself.

Avoid that club at all costs. It's not worth considering, especially you realize Platinum Plus is only 30 minutes away. Platinum has dancers who are on par with the top-flight talent at Vegas strip clubs.

Only thing in Tunica besides the Casinos is a Subway in side of a gas station and a titty bar on your way in. Have fun!

You can get your drinking done in the casinos.
If you still wanna good time many many bars on beale st. check out silky's, pat o's, alfred's, my favorite the flying saucer (has over 150 different beers). Less than 40 mins from the front door of any casino. Stay away from graceland unless you are an elvis fan. It's not worth the price of admission. Unless you love the king or something... Strip clubs----stay away from all except platinum plus. The rest are slums. You can catch a ton of shopping at an outlet mall in tunica. The peabody place off of beale is good also. Get to memphis on a weekend night. If not pick up a copy of the memphis flyer (it will be easy to find) so you can see whats happening during the week---live music, food, ect... That should do it. |

All of the bars are inside the casinos, the only strip club I've seen (and the one that is being discussed in this thread) looks empty every time I pass it, and I have yet to see any gas station hookers. As others have said Memphis is about 30 minutes away and there is plenty there, but in Tunica itself and even the neighboring cities, trust me, there is nothing but casinos.

Right.
I don't know where he got the impression that there really ARE things to do in Tunica. I've never seen any gas-station hookers either....and I frequenly used to get off of my BJ dealing shift at midnight or 2am or so and would hit that Chevron or Exxon or whatever it is on the way out. There are no bars that I'm aware of except inside the casinos themselves. The skanky strip-club joint in Tennessee is still a pretty decent hike away. It's not even in Tunica...it's still in Tennessee. And I'm guessing from the looks that it's probably REALLY bad. Besides the casinos: 2 golf-courses, a mediocre outlet mall, and a Subway (as well as a Wendy's) inside a gas-station pretty much sums it up imo. |

Pretty good golf if you play.
Tunica National is nice and right by the casinos. I played Cherokee Valley in Olive Branch and liked it a lot. We go every visit to Mallard Pointe down in Sardis. Bout 50 minute drive, but a beautiful inexpensive well conditioned uncrowded course. |
