Buddy list his ass

Calling 2 cold PF and 2 more on a gutshot means more $ for you in the long run

I don't like his open-limp, but he has a double-gutter on the flop and is getting 14:2 or 7:1 for an 8-outer (6-outer if you completely discount any [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] outs). He may have been going for a C/R on the flop which would have been a fine play with the PFR to his immediate left - when it comes back to him and he's facing 2 cold, his call is not bad at all (especially considering the implied odds if he hits with two players liking their hands). I'd not open-limp, but his flop play is not bad, and he played the big streets pretty well, too.

Why would you raise the river here? I feel like he would fold if he can't beat trip queens and reraise you if he can. What hands does villain just call with that you beat or fold that are better than yours?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I tend to agree with this. If we are going to raise somewhere, I think it would be to 3-bet the turn. I see some idiots raise turns like this with just an 8. It could also allow us to check behind the river. That being said, I think I like the way OP played it better.
