Re: a hand
i raised because all the callers were in there, i would usually fold that against a raise, i wasn't concerned with what hand the raiser had, does that outweigh dragging in all that dead money?

Re: a hand
You have to beat the raiser to take the dead money, don't you? Sure, you are prolly ahead of the limpers, but making 2nd best hand can be very expensive.

Re: a hand
You should not be raising this preflop. There are 3 limpers, 1 raiser, and a coldcaller. You do not have an equity edge with this hand. It is not worth paying 1.75 SB to call with this hand either. The chance that you are dominated is just to great.
I would of bet the flop like you did since the pot is huge at this point, but when the fourth straight card hits I'm check folding the turn. |

Re: a hand
I agree w folding preflop. AJ just isn't strong enough to three bet with, unless perhaps against an open raise, but even then I personally still fold.
As is I'm not sure the flop bet will accomplish anything all. Straight and flush draws are coming along no matter what. I might check/call the flop and probably check/fold the turn. |
