Bottom 2 on a monotone board
$1/$2 @ Turning Stone Casino
I have about $175, Villain about $100 Read on Villain: Had played with him before and I would label him as a solid TAG. Villain raises UTG to $7, 2 callers and I call in middle position with 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 2 more callers behind me. Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain leads for $15 and it's folded to me. My line? |

Re: Bottom 2 on a monotone board
Interesting hand. It's somewhat risky, but I think you're ahead here most times and I would raise to about $40 and decide from there.
The only hands villain could have that you're behind are AQs or KK, you're even with AsKx. AxK is most likely IMO. I'd take a chance on no one behind having flopped a flush. |

Re: Bottom 2 on a monotone board
meh, fold preflop
a pot raise is to ~$60. i think, which is basically putting villain to a stack decision. as short as his stack is, i'm pushing here. you have everything a TAG would raise from UTG beat except KK (or random spade connectors ) |

Re: Bottom 2 on a monotone board
I did raise it to $45. Folds to Villian who pushes. It was about $50 more for me to call. Do I?
