Re: Monster AA pot, scary looking 4th street betting.
Just curious as to why you didn't cap the flop? Afraid of KT? Even with the KT possibility, I think I'd still be capping.

Re: Monster AA pot, scary looking 4th street betting.
I would check/fold the turn here. It may seem weak, but I'm thinking that pocket 10's is an easy cold-call before the flop; I'm not sure I would cold-call K-10, even with position, but someone else might (and honestly I would at the right table.) Heads-up you could just call down, but these players are going to drive up the price for you to stay in and I think you have to be behind to at least one of them.

Re: Monster AA pot, scary looking 4th street betting.
With those turn bets, I would have gathered that at least one of them was representing two pair. Without knowing the table more, it's hard to say. Assuming that these were tight players (I honestly don't know the difference yet between Tight Aggressive and Tight Passive), I would have folded. Wrong, right? (I'm new to poker).
EDIT: Gah, I'm wrong -- why would they have stayed pre-flop raises with marginal hands. Either way -- I would have folded 4th street. Comments? |

Re: Monster AA pot, scary looking 4th street betting.
I'd cap the flop and lead the turn as the 3-bet could easily be an AK trying to protect. If raised again you can probably safely fold.
