I think I just got really lucky on this one

Hey guys. I probably got really lucky on this hand. As defense, I did what I did because I noticed Villain (CO) had a penchant of raising many hands preflop that did not warrant it.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold’em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
 6 folds, Villain raises, Hero calls,  2 folds.

Flop: (4 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
 Villain bets, Hero raises, Villain folds.

Final Pot: (3 BB)

Flame away please.

No flame, but if you think he raises light, then 3-bet pre-flop.

Flop action was fine.

I'm torn on the PF action.

Intuitively you'd like to three bet to isolate. However QJs doesn't seem like enough to isolate with.

So if your willing to take it multiway then calling is better, as long as you are able to play it as you did.

I’m not sure if I’m helpful in this thread at all.

Seems reasonable. I might have 3-bet preflop in this case. Many people, TAG or not, will raise light when a blind steal becomes possible.

3-bet PF. I'd add that this helps to set up a free card play if you need it.
