Frankie and Johnny's is a great place for a steak... excellent chops, a bit less expensive. Kind of tucked away on 45th. Doesn't have the rep of other places, but their ribeyes and prime rib were just fabulous. yes, the obvious answer is both. I mean what does a side of spuds cost, even at a nice steak house in NYC? $5? $6. $8? Get both and tell us which is better. El D has agonized more than the cost of an extra side.
