Party $11 Bubble hand
I still don't know if I made the right move on this one. Villain has been tight and has only shown down some very good hands. This is his first open push of the match and he only raised one other time near the bubble (I was lucky enough to have aces that time and no tough decisions). Short stack is a complete donk from what I've seen. The middlish short stack is pretty good. Ok there are the reads I have (4 tabling, so this many reads is remarkable ). Also, as he folded the short stack says "how come when I get a decent hand someone goes all in." But I really can't figure what that means based on his play. Oh, and this is the second hand of level 5, so blinds won't be up for a while.

Re: Party $11 Bubble hand
Insta-fold, auto-muck, whatever you wanna call it.
Let me just put it this way: It's probably -EV to call AKs here. |

Re: Party $11 Bubble hand
Yeah I would fold too. I was caught in a similiar situation with A-J and ended up losing it all to pocket queens. He could just be trying to steal the blinds, but it's not worth the wonder. FOLD

Re: Party $11 Bubble hand
Thanks guys. I folded and now feel a lot better about it. A few weeks ago, before I had heard of this forum, ICM, and proper bubble play, I'd probably have called cuz I had AJ sooted.
