Re: 10 BIG 6-max hands
There's money to be won here people!
[ QUOTE ] I'll give a $5 to the first person who can guess which hands were good, which were no good and which chopped in all 10 cases. (hint there is one chop besides hand 11) Anybody who can guess villian's winning holdings in all the hands I lost to gets $10. Only one guess each and NO EDITS! [/ QUOTE ] Let's see your hand reading skillz. |

Re: 10 BIG 6-max hands
Hand 1: Cap the river. You'll se a flush or straight often enough.
Hand 2: I don't think I like the TAG 3betting, but I probably cap anyway. I'm an ATM. Hand 3: You lose to Q9 (2 ways), Q2 (6 ways), and QQ (1 way, unlikely). You beat 22 (3 ways). Will this guy play Qx this way? I think there's a decent chance of it. I raise the river, and call a 3bet. Hand 4: I probably 3bet the river, and kick the cat when he shows me the house. Hand 5: Going for a check/raise is daring. 4flush boards sometimes scare even LAGs. It's not terrible, though. Sucks that you missed. Hand 6: A raise is close. It's probably for the best, but it's hard to do. Hand 7: Sucks, but nice. Hand 8: If he's really a maniac, I play it straight up. He'll give me his money. Hand 9: Fold the frop. Hand 10: Pot's huge. Nice. Hand 11: SB paid $4 to the pot. You made a slight profit. |

Re: 10 BIG 6-max hands
Hand 1: I'd cap the river since you have dead money in there.
Hand 2: I'd cap the river and feel very good about my hand here. Much better than in Hand 1. Hand 3: I like it. Hand 4: I like it. Hand 5: Awful spot to try and checkraise the river. I'd think about 3 betting preflop and I'd do it for sure if he is a maniac. Hand 6: I'd raise the river and probably fold to a 3 bet. Hand 7: Get more money in on the turn. Your only possibly behind a maniac and even if you are you have good equity 3 ways. I would have led the flop btw and I think its much better to do so. Hand 8: Eww, ick, ugh, ack. I hate this kind of "tricky" crap. I raise preflop because I'm raising tons of hands there preflop and if he folds I'll get over it. I would never check/call and then check raise the turn against a maniac because that doesn't give him much of a chance to go crazy and it represents a ton of strength. You should also think about 3 betting the river if he is a real maniac. Ugh don't do this crap your out thinking yourself. Hand 9: I'd fold on the flop, bet the turn, and 3 bet the river. He has JT. Hand 10: Eh its ok. Loose flop call. Hand 11: Raise preflop. -DeathDonkey |

Re: 10 BIG 6-max hands
1: I'd cap the river.
2: I'd fold preflop. I'd also lead the river. Calling a raise would be the correct move after button slowed down on the scary turn. 3: I think it's fine. 4: Lead the turn. You don't want this getting checked through 3-way. River is fine. 5: 3-betting preflop is good against him. As you played it (which is fine against a maniacal bettor), you have to bet the river. If he doesn't have a club, he will think you have one. 6: Gay. Think about possible hands he bets on the turn. 7: Fine. 8: Okay, you limped. I don't like postflop though. I would either bet or check raise the flop, or c/c flop, c/c turn, and bet river. Your turn check raise has too much chance to blow him out. 9: Check fold or bet the flop. Since you check called, you should just lead the turn, probably being willing to fold to a raise. 10: I don't think the flop call is profitable. |
