Default Easy unimproved AQ fold, right?

Just checking up. And how's the rest of the play? Should I be doing something at some point?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP2 calls, 4 folds, UTG calls.

Flop: (7.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets, MP2 raises, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (5.66 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

River: (7.66 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP2 raises, Hero folds.

The K was bluffed on to see if it'd get him to fold mid pockets, btw.

Final Pot: 10.66 BB

Easy turn fold - you don't have odds to continue at this point.

I've been playing a lot of shorthanded lately so my advice might be a little off.

I wouldn't necessarily fold this turn. He could easily raise this flop with a draw. Like real easy. I call the turn because:

1) I'm still ahead of most drawing hands that would raise the flop.
2) I feel pretty good about my non-spade Ace and Queen outs.
3) Villian might check behind on the river with a hand like A8 or even a paired 5,6, or 7 (meaning he may not value bet me on a brick river).

Of course, when the 3rd spade falls on the river, I'm inclined to check-fold.

Reads are important on these types of hands that you could consider calling down.

The turn is close. The river is terrible. I don't know the texture of the Party 3/6 game right now, but bluffing possible scare cards on the river is pointless in the Party 2/4 game right now.

why are you trying to bluff someone who raised you on the flop, then bet the turn against you? its not like he checked on the river. I think this desperation bet was even worse than calling the turn (which still should have been a fold). Even if he thinks the king or the flush beat him, he's still going to call every time.

Maybe, but Hero's not getting odds to draw to them.

You are assuming that Hero is behind. This flop is about as draw heavy as they get. What makes you think villian is NOT raising a draw?

If this were the case wouldn't he be more likely to take the free turn card?
