Re: $4.5 million
Yes, I posted this in response to the pic of the guy who looks like the witch doctor.
Rise. Chicken. Chicken. Chicken, rise. I swear, I almost hurt myself laughing every time I see that episode. |

Re: $4.5 million
[ QUOTE ]
I haven't heard him say all the money he is risking is his own. [/ QUOTE ] All of the money I am risking is my own. Ok, so now you have :-) Aside from selling 10% of my action to some friends against both Mimi and Barry, I put up every single dollar on my own. As for Wynn, they neither asked me to do this or even expect me to do this. I don't have to play ANY of these challenges as far as my contract is concerned. I did it because I wanted to and it was 100% solely my idea. |

Re: $4.5 million
[ QUOTE ]
Yes because Daniel is in denial. Barry says he and his group of great players say daniel is not a proven winner at there limits. But i guess barry and the guys that play that game on a regualr basis know less then Danny and you who one has barely played the game and you who has never played the game. [/ QUOTE ] "Barry Says" doesn't make it gospel. Last year I played in the $4000-$8000 game and while it's true I haven't logged a lot of hours in the game I am over a million winner. Of course Barry was rarely in the game when I played since he lives in LA and the game generally happens in Vegas. When you say "Barry and the guys" say Daniel is not a proven player, again that doesn't make it true. Who other than Barry actually made that claim? You assume it's true because, "Barry said so." Barry has also said that he is the winningest cash game player of the decade. That's clearly not true. Barry also claims that Mimi Tran is the winningest female player in the world. Again, not true. He also believes that Mimi Tran is a 2-1 favorite over me in limit hold'em. Which automatically makes him (in his mind) at least a 2-1 favorite over me in 7 card stud. |

Re: $4.5 million

[ QUOTE ] By most defintions he has a problem, but it's negated by his skill. [/ QUOTE ] His risk of ruin at 20 buyins heads up would be astronomical, no amount of skill can overcome it. Mack [/ QUOTE ] Not one of the high limit players that made it there did it without taking risks that risk averse people would claim are foolish. |

Re: $4.5 million
Actually these guys are the trolls. They just don't like when there is a poster that doesn't kiss all the famous poker players butts.

Not one of the high limit players that made it there did it without taking risks that risk averse people would claim are foolish. [/ QUOTE ] I have no doubt that that is true, I probably have no idea why you play poker, from this statement you obviously don't play to live comfortably on a nice six figure annual, which is what I would probably do if I was as good a player as you. Anyway I might be gun-shy, I might think you are silly but I don't want to see anyone go broke so good luck to you hopefully you won't run bad. Regards Mack |
