Montreal poker...
I'm going to be in town for the grand prix and am wondering if anybody can give me leads on any clubs that might be available to wandering americans.

Re: Montreal poker...
There is no legal poker in Montreal.

Re: Montreal poker...
I'm aware that it's not legal and don't particularly care.
If I have to put together a tourist hotel game to get action, life will go on. Thanks all. |

Re: Montreal poker...
Well, a local room got raided last weekend... so the club scene in Montreal has been somewhat dampened...

Re: Montreal poker...
Ouch, that sucks.
I guess I'll have to go to Plan B: drum up interest for a game on the racing message boards. Thanks, though! |

Re: Montreal poker...
As Sandrine (salut, JF!) said, things will probably be dead for the next few months, due to the recent bust.
The closest legal action is about 1.5 hours away, at the Akwesasne Indian casino. It's located in upstate NY, across from Cornwall, Ontario. Alan |
