No way to save Pokerstars SnG summaries into Poker Tracker?
I didn't realize this as I've been e-mailing the last few hundred to my e-mail account, but the summaries are just that.. summaries. No hand histories or anything. To my knowledge Stars doesn't save the summary to the hard drive either.
Is there not a way to import a real summary that Pokertracker can read? |

Re: No way to save Pokerstars SnG summaries into Poker Tracker?
I just imported the files from my hard drive. Ive got about 4,000 hands, but no ROI stats or anything like that. Is there no way?

I think you're supposed to import both the hand histories, and the tournament summaries.

You have to request the tournament summaries from the stars main application window.

Re: No way to save Pokerstars SnG summaries into Poker Tracker?
My e-mails look like this:
PokerStars Tournament #8714766, No Limit Hold'em Buy-In: $15.00/$1.00 9 players Total Prize Pool: $135.00 Tournament started - 2005/06/06 - 23:05:02 (ET) Dear ChoicestHops, You finished the tournament in 2nd place. A $40.50 award has been credited to your Real Money account. Congratulations! Thank you for participating. Pokertracker isn't recognizing it as a summary. When I import hands from my hard drive, I get the hands, but Im not getting a ROI, or recognition of the number of tournaments I have been in. |

Re: No way to save Pokerstars SnG summaries into Poker Tracker?
That is what you get when you place in the money. To get a tournment summary that PT can use:
<ul type="square">[*]Go to the PokerStars Lobby[*]Click on "Requests", then "Tournament History..."[*]Select the "My last XX tournaments" radio button and enter the number of summaries you need. I'm sure there is a maximum you can get, but don't know what it is.[*]If you need more then they will give you that way, use the tournament ID numbers from PT for tournaments you don't have summaries for and enter them in the other radio button area "Tournament ID". You have to do them individually, but I think they keep them for many months.[/list]Hope this works for you. Rob (TexBigSlick) |
