An interesting hand....
I don't know how to use the converter quite yet cause I'm a noob, so I'll just type it out. 1/2NL. Everyone has around $200 in front of them.
I have $200 in front of me in BB and get dealt pocket 8's. UTG raises to $8, MP1 and MP2 both call. I call. Flop comes: Jh10h8d I check UTG+1 bets $20, both MP1 and MP2 call the $20 and its to me. I reraise to $100 and everyone folds. Any critiques are welcome. Thanks. |

Re: An interesting hand....
I might be inclined to push. It seems excessive, but anyone on a flush or OESD is getting decent odds to call here (around 2.5:1). You're still picking up almost a $100 pot by pushing here, so I'd be more inclined to overbet. You might lose the TPTK or similar, but you'll probably get rid of strong draws as well, or at least make them pay out the ass to see it...

Re: An interesting hand....
I like it lots to make the draws fold. With that many possible draws out there I want the pot now.

x is not a vowel, y is the correct choice, and it's not even close, do you see why?

Re: An interesting hand....
You won their re-raise its a good play. You could have re-raised a bit smaller if you wanted callers but have to watch out for straight draw.

Re: An interesting hand....
Standard play. Not that interesting: even if you are reraised you need to quickly call as you are getting over 2-1 for your money and could have the best hand.
It would get intereting if someone went over the top for $300 more. |
