bet my pair of 2s on the river for value?
OK, party 30 blind steal situation, BB is TAG, 20/10, nothing unuaual on him.
I raise with A2s from button, he 3-bets from BB, I call flop K52 He bets I call Turn 5 He bets, I raise, he takes a long time and calls River 9 or something like that He checks, hero? Is this usually a value bet? |

I think this river bet would be quite bad.

Did you see the part where he called your turn raise. A river bet is far more likely to be a bluff than a value bet.

i hate the call on the flop....raise on the flop and if he again bets the turn....fold. If he calls, just call him down, including the river.

No. I think he has a pocket pair between 55 and KK and he will call a river bet with it.

I think this river bet would be quite bad. [/ QUOTE ] unless villian can lay down 33/44. he's not folding any other pair imo. -Barron |
