I don't have the bankroll for 20/40 but it's a better game than 10/20

The money I have made from poker is not put into a bankroll for poker. I usually spend it on other things and keep a small working bankroll. Just because I have won some cash doesn't mean I ever plan on losing 10k+ ever playing mid limit cash games. At the present time I have a 1k working bankroll and wanted feedback on whether I should risk it playing 20/40 over 10/20 becuase it is a much better game. Is that too hard to understand?
