Pokertracker auto rate figures

Hi,

I'm not sure if I should post this in the beginner section or here but here I go anyway. I want to set my Pokertracker up so that I can acuratley auto rate the players in my data base. Right now I'm using the guidelines on bet the pot, but I don't think they are accurate because I'm playing .5-1 limit and he is playing NL. What are the best "standard" rating systems that you use in your system? Do you use mutilple rules to sort by or do you just us V$IP? Thank you for your time and I appreciate you putting up with my noob question.
