Default Number of outs: Common situations

I've realized that I often get a little sloppy when counting outs so decided to put together a little cheatcard as punishment/reminder. It's just a little table with number of outs, hand-example and probability.

Now, the hand-examples are causing bit of a problem because I want the examples to reflect the most common situations on the flop for the given number of outs. Some number of outs + example are obvious: 2 outs (small pocket pair improving to set), 4 outs (gutshot straight), 9 outs (flush draw) etc. With some number of outs it's a bit harder to decide which situations that are most frequent though.

I know I've seen a table with # of outs/hand example here on the forum, but I can't seem to find it now. Anyone got the link? If not, what would you choose as the most common flop situations for 1-14 outs?

Thanks.

Are you referring to "Pot odds made easy"? I think that table has just a few examples, like 9 outs (flushdraw), 8 outs (OESD) and maybe one or two more.

1: Fold for cryin' out loud! ;-)
2: Pocket Pair -> Set
3: Single overcard
4: Inside Straight draw / 2-Pair (83 on flop of 83K, ie) -> Full House
5: Pair -> Trips/2-pair (83 on a flop of J84 flop, ie.)
6: Two overcards
7: Trips -> Full-House/Quads (flop)
8: OESD
9: Flush Draw
10: Set -> Full House/Quads (turn)
11:
12: Inside Straight Draw & Flush Draw
13:
14:
15: OESD & Flush Draw

Thanks. I have a few comments.

1: Fold for cryin' out loud! ;-)
Good point, but sometimes the pot is huge.

3: Single overcard
I would usually count this as 1.5 out, like in SSH.

6: Two overcards
3 outs, see above.

12: Inside Straight Draw & Flush Draw
That would be 13 outs, right? (4+9=13)

15: OESD & Flush Draw
Shouldn't this be 17 outs? (8+9=17)

You're counting the same card twice. The 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] might complete both a flush and inside straight draw but it does both and there's only one 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
