Folding Trips on the River
Both players are showing fish tendencies but only have 30 hands each on both of them. Just looking for advice on the hand in itself, especailly the river.

I would have bet the turn, but how you played it I think you have to fold the river.

You need to bet that turn. Makes river so much easier.

Alright so if I had bet the turn, assuming I get two callers again and one leads out the river, then do I fold or just call it expecting to see the flush?

[/ QUOTE ] If you had bet the turn and both opponents called, I would call the river bet...your hand is not good very often, but I think it is good often enough to showdown (~1 in 9 times). |

You beat everyone who doesn't hold a spade, and players bluff in these spots more often than you think. Show down your hand for one more bet.

I don't mind the river fold given the pot size. But I'd probably call it down. |
