KK in final table
There were three left in the 1250 freeroll on partypoker, villain has played pretty typical, not completly straight foward, but not too tricky either (my image reading skills are still in their infant stages, so i could be wrong).
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30000 (3 handed) converter SB (t829930) BB (t378567) Hero (t681503) Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Hero raises to t90000, SB calls t75000, 1 fold. I had been raising 3xbb all night, so I felt anything signifagantly higher would give my hand away too much. Flop: (t210000) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets t131500, Hero calls t131500. Turn: (t473000) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets t66800, Hero raises to t133600, SB calls t66800. I had my finger on the all in button here, but decided to go with the min raise (good/bad?) River: (t740200) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets t474830 (All-In), Hero calls t326403 (All-In). Re: KK in final table
like the initial bet, hate the call on the flop, hate the tiny raise on the turn. And my opinion would be the same in any tournament, but the fact that this is a freeroll and down to 3 people makes it even worse.
KK is just a gigantic hand 3-handed. Ax is a move in hand, so are small pairs, KK or AA just is so rare 3 handed that if you can get your money in you must. After his bet at the flop there is 341,500 in the pot, it costs you 131,500 to call, you have 591,500 left. Move all in. He caught a piece of that flop or has small pair unless he's an idiot, he knows you are at least calling as the preflop raiser with position. 3 handed he could have a huge range of hands, but most people would not lead if they flopped a set because they know you are going to bet that non dangerous flop. Then he tosses a tiny and odd bet of 66,800 into a 473,000 pot ? I've found those little bets are usually done by draws trying to see the river cheaply. You have to hammer him all-in here. Your minimum reraise does nothing, he either calls it or comes back over the top of you if he's got a made hand. The river 5 is scary, he could have a straight, 2 pair, trips, whatever. But you're now in last place if you give up the pot and facing a 4-1 chip deficit. I think you're dead but I can understand calling. |
