Default An awkward pair of fours

UTG has been laggy but not too bad.
BB is loose and passive.

I guess I was just kind of lost on this hand.

Paradise Poker 1/2 Hold'em (4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks.

Turn: (1.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks.

Anybody bet the turn?

River: (1.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Hero folds.

Anybody make this overcall?

Final Pot: 3.50 BB

I agree that maybe I should have bet the river. Folding to a turn raise is easy. But what do you do on the river when your turn bet gets called by one or both opponents?
