Default Preflop with a poster from the button

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $2.
4 folds, CO (poster) checks, Hero???

What is the cut-off for a raise here?

Any two cards or is raising with T7 just stupid.

Considering how loose 2/4 tends to get, I'm more inclined to pass here. T9o/T8s are certainly good for a raise. Maybe T8o too? What do you know about the blinds?

Nothing, but I guess if did have a read, after reading your post would this be an appropriate plan of action:

Avg. VPIP of blinds < 25% -- raise any two
Avg. VPIP of blinds between 25% and 35% -- raise T9o and up
Avg. VPIP of blinds over 35% -- raise JTo and up
