Active mods for strategy forums?

This was discussed in the IRC channel yesterday...

...if we're getting mods for OOT and WPT, why not have someone actively monitoring SSNL? (At least to pick out things like people going into my threads and replying with "you suck" or "shut up".)

Someone with the power to instantly delete those Jesus posts and other trash would be nice. They were fun for a while but are becoming old hat now.

I think the posters at SSNL are slightly more sophisticated than WPT [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img], bar several people who will remain unnamed (you know who you are).

Apart from deleting spam, what else is a mod going to do? I haven't read anything here so far that would benefit from censorship, even the 10^129th bad beat story.
