For all you guys who have LCDs.
Is it ok to leave them on all the time? Should I shut it off? Screen saver? It's the first LCD I've owned, so help me out. |

configure your monitor power settings to turn itself off after 30-60 minutes or so of inactivity. thats really all you need to worry about.

Just a question, why didnt you go with the 2001FP so you could 4-table with no overlap?

I can 4-table with no overlap, this is the new 24'' widescreen monitor from Dell, not the 2005FPW. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Thanks, I'll configure the power settings. |

995$ + 60 bucks 6-day ground FedEX
Surprinsingly there was no customs fees, I was expecting to pay 15% upon delivery, but nope. |

Screen savers are fine. The days of monitor burn in are more or less long gone. Configing power saver to just shut the monitor off is fine (I use my thumb).

You don't need to worry about burn-in or losing brightness with an LCD so you can leave it on indefinitely if you want. The advice above to use your power management settings is good. 20" of LCD probably has some sort of effect on the electric bill.

24" is $$$ - Sometimes, I wish my 2001FPs were bigger.
999$ is too much though for me! Blackjack |
