Looks fine to me. Feels like MP is checking a straight. If he calls at least you have several outs to still pick up the pot.

Suspect you did not read the post correctly. The play is high read/experience dependant. Will it work often enough to be +EV in the long run is all you care about, I don't have enough info to make a judgment.
