Search: How do I only search for original posts?
I saw someone say you can exclude all responses to an original post in the search, but can't find the thread again. Does anyone remember how to do this?

Re: Search: How do I only search for original posts?
To be precise, do it like this:
Suppose you want to find notes with the words "two flush" in the subject line. You would then enter: +"two flush" -"re:" |

Re: Search: How do I only search for original posts?
The quotes aren't necessary on the -re: because it doesn't have any spaces in it, but I do recommend the the colon as part of it. Without it you could be eliminating results unintentionally. Like posts with the word REsults.
Note this method isn't fool proof. Reply subject lines don't always contain the Re: but they usually do. |
