*grunching

Hand 1 is close between a raise and a fold, but I prefer folding here

Hand 2 is a raise

Hand 3 is marginal, but I prefer folding

Hand 4 looks like a raise

Hand 5 also looks like a raise

See, here are some things that are easier to identify. You can DEFINITLY limp more from the button, your have the button dude. Are you raising hands like A2s or JTo here or just not limping with them? Also you def need to be defending more. I suggesting reading some Peter_rus posts of blind defense that will open you up to a whole new world of looseness. With just one other person other than the pf raiser in I call with anything suited that is a 3 gapper or better; two or more people other than the pf raiser and I am going with any two suited. I think your defending #'s should be more around 80-90% in the SB and 70-60% in the BB. I would check out Calllmeish's post on stats to see what other's numbers look like. Search for Tiger Woods if you haven't seen it yet [yes, Tiger Woods].

With only one limper I raise, otherwise I usually limp. With tight blinds I raise more often.

Thanks for your advice! I will definately work on improving this part of my game.
