Half the fun of OOT for me was letting our quick-witted posters bash on people who came to this forum and:

1) Insulted other posters.
2) Made duplicate threads.
3) Wanted to talk about poker.

OOT having a nanny takes away the fun of OOT. Mat usually gets around to things that need to be dealt with fast enough for me, and if you want to help alleviate his strain, there are other forums in much more dire need, such as the Zoo or WPT.

Don't know if this has been said, but here is some advice:

This thread is not interesting enough or important enough to have a sticky.

But that sort of stuff puts the 'fun' in 'OOfunT'

tbach is right, it would.

From a reducing the civil & criminal liability of 2+2 aspect, Dynasty would have to start banning virtually all pictures that aren't of or by posters (copyright laws - we don't need Hustler or Playboy suing 2+2).

If it is possible to move threads, then Chuck should set up a "hidden" forum (viewable only to moderators) where the new moderators can move threads they think should be deleted. That way, Mat can review their decisions and restore any threads that shouldn't have been deleted. Mat has made thread deletion mistakes too by his own admission, this could help him reverse those mistakes as well.

This is a good idea.

Stop people making a new thread "OMG xxxxx is green? OMG" every time someone new is made a moderator.
