Gametime+ and table averages at 3/6
Guys,
When you use Gametime+ in the 3/6 games, do you have the program calculate table VPIP and so on using weighted or simple averages? I would tend to think that simple averages are better for the purpose determining the quality of the table, but I could easily be wrong. |

I really don't know the difference. I decide to stay at the table if I see 2 or more bad players. By bad I mean LPs, LAPs, and LAGs. Also I'll stay at a tight table if the blinds will fold over to my steals. That kinda table you can just play on autopilot.

I use simple average. I don't want one or two players that I have tons of hands on (generally, I have many more hands on the tigher players) to dominate the table stats.
Of course, the number can be greatly skewed when you have very few hands with several players at the table. |

If you had eight players that were 50/0/100 (VPIP/PRF/Hands), and one player that was a boring (10/5/1000) then
with average, the table would be: 45.55/0.55 with weighted, it'd be 28.95/2.63 |

So the moral is, observe that table with your own damn eyes!
