Help trying to use pokertracker
I can never seem to know when 100 hands has passed, especially when I am playing 2 tables at once at party etc. Is there a way to have it request every 100 hands automatically? If not how do you guys know when to request? I either miss some hands or request too often and repeat.

Re: Help trying to use pokertracker
What I do is I keep the statistics window open with the tables I'm playing at and when it reaches 100 I request a hand history. It doesn't matter if you have redundant hands as they are not loaded into your database.
If you don't know about the statistics window just right click over your name at a table and you will get that option. Rockfish |

No, but there will be in version 2 (You'll be able to request x number of hands every y minutes) If not how do you guys know when to request? 2 tables - I request 100 every 30 minutes (I use Outlook reminders to remember). I either miss some hands or request too often and repeat. It doesn't read a hand into the db twice, so overlapping doesn't matter. |

Re: Help trying to use pokertracker
There is a warning about having your hands imported from oldest to newest, but Stars sends thier hands newest to oldest. Does it really matter?

Re: Help trying to use pokertracker
The reason for the warning is because it could cause the session stats. to get out of whack. Let's say to play a long session at Stars and start at 6PM. You request your hands after playing 200 hands and load them into PT. It comes in with the newest hands displayed first in the file. So you load them and all is well. Now you play another 200 hands and request your hands again and again your most recent hand is listed first. Now, say this hand was played 2 hours after the last hand in the hand history file you loaded into PT. When it checks to see if there is another session out there, there is gap of two hours between hands so PT would not consider this a new session even though it was really the same one. If the hands were sent oldest to newest you wouldn't have this problem. Hope that made sense

Re: Help trying to use pokertracker
Do you need to load your hand history files in order too? Like oldest hand history file first?

Re: Help trying to use pokertracker
Hi Tony, Yes you do for the same reason I described above. It's not configurable like PokerStat which allows you to specify time between hands for a given session right? Poker Tracker uses a set 30 minute timeline. If the difference between hands is greater than 30 minutes it considers it a new session.
