Did QQ spike a Q vs AA a little bit ago? My thing started buffering and when it came back it was a different hand.

[/ QUOTE ]

Nope.

Oh ok. I came back and they were talking about sucking it up after a tough beat. Must have been a different hand.

Edit: OR they were talking about the QQ person. I'm stupid.

I need a fake ID...I think I'm the only one of my group of friends that doesn't know someone who can get me a California one that scans and blacklights...

edit: The guy didn't realize he had the straight. I can't watch any more of this before I shoot myself.

Did she say Bart thinks you need SIXTY grand to sit in this game? Yikes. That's how much Knish thinks you need to play right in the 300-600 game with Johnny Chan. Cmon.

Now that I think about it, I vaguely remember him saying that you need 1000 big bets to play in this game. Imagine if that were true for all levels. Nobody would ever play poker. $2k bankroll for the 1/2 game, hah!

it was discussed that one would need that much to play this game for a living, not to sit down for one session.

I think I understand to a certain extent why these people seem to call with overcards and bad draws so much. That last hand for example, seat 1 laid down AK on the flop, which was undoubtedly the correct move, +EV. But then he has to sit there and watch what would have been a runner runner broadway.

As an online player, multitabling, I make that laydown all the time and never have to sit there and watch my miracle happen on the river (or not happen as is usually the case) I think the boredom of B&M, one table, could make you want to chase -EV draws. I have never played live, so just a thought.

I see. Yeah, that's still too much but in that case I guess its all about comfort. Also if you are a tight aggressive you shouldn't need that much. If you are a LAG like Grace you definitely need a big BR.
