QQ flopped trips...but.

Ok, how badly did I play this, or was my only mistake laying it down on the river?

Had just sat down at table, .25/.50 Prima, no reads. Had $50, villian had a little less at the start of this hand, probably about $40.

My first thoughts looking back on it were that I should've bet a little more on the flop, bet the river, or at least called him, considering what cards he would need to have to have actually made the flush here. In hindsight, I think I could've been up against a poorly played AA/KK, or a flopped underset?

Anyway, I'll let you guys hand out the advice, I just feel my fold on the river was pretty weak.

On the river, before calling, swear loudly. Then call anyway.

Yeah, if I'd paid a little more attention to the river, it would've clicked that it was the A that came, making sooo much less likely that he has the flush. What would you guys put villian on here?

depends on the read...

could be anything, aq, set of 6's.. if hes x loose then possibly the flush or the straight.

Bet a bit more on the flop (between $3 and $4), turn bet was fine, call on the river. I'd put villain on AQo or 66.
