Default Hand from 11R

Yeah yeah, fold preflop but I like mixing it up and theoretically I'll make good decisions postflop.

Still 500+ left, opponent is decent but not great. Insanely massive overbet, does anyone think he could have a heart draw?

Theoretically, you've played a trouble hand and gotten the exact trouble flop you're supposed to avoid. I muck this. Postflop.

preflop is fine. postflop the bet is big enough to make you fold even if it is a semi-bluff.

Yes I do think he could have a heart draw but you still can't call IMO.

If opponent is LAG you can try a flop check-raise push (I love pwning LAGs by out LAGging them, they fold more than you'd think). If he's not I fold here.

But this hand illustrates the win a small pot lose a big pot concept very well. With the stack sizes I don't think these blinds are worth stealing yet, so I prefer to fold preflop here. Of course you are in the CO which means you'll have position on the limper or the blinds but the button decided to call which sucks.

If I play this hand, I play it exactly as you did, and fold to the raise. But I prefer a fold preflop here.
