Flop %?
what is a good % to see flops? im usually around 40-45% and i think im playing to loose and want to tightien up a bit..I def know i am getting better at this as when i started my flop% was around 75%(horrible rookie mistake i know!) seems like i am letting myself call to much with bad hands especially when the blinds are small and also notice im getting in the habit of calling with suited cards if one is a face card and also play almost anything in the blinds and when minraised almost always call.... so anyways whats a good % of flops to see?

Re: Flop %?
Depends on too many things, BUT: around 20% is a good % to shoot for....

Re: Flop %?
i dont think there's a hard and fast answer to the question but, if your calling 45% of the time u r doing yourself an injustice. i would try and keep it at around 20-25% until u get comfortable playing position and raising more often. but the real issue isnt the %'s its the hands if u r playing any suited cards u need to pick up a few books and see what a good hand selection is. it is a good idea to raise sometimes with rags on the button but terrible to call with them out of position.

Re: Flop %?
around 20% is about right for a full table. I play mostly at the 6 max tables and play around 35% which is probably close to the upper limit of what you want to be at (25-35%).

Re: Flop %?
I'm at 40% VPIP on 6max 50$ NL tables. My rationale is that there are good implied odds on big flops, but in reality, the implied odds aren't THAT great. I'm probably losing money by being such a loose donkey. But it's FUN!!!
