JJ with QQ on board
$2/4 - Hero is SB, MP is LPP, MP+1 is TAP.
Pre-Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 folds, MP calls, MP+1 raises, 1 fold, button calls, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, MP calls, MP+1 caps, all call. Flop: (17 SB) Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, MP checks, MP+1 bets, button folds, Hero raises, MP 3-bets (and is all-in), MP+1 folds, Hero calls. Turn: (12 BB) 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] River: (12 BB) T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] MP turns over K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero wins with Q's up. Would you have played this differently and why? It's hard to think there wouldn't be a queen or higher pp, but the pot was so large, I figured I had to be aggressive. Ended up working out this time. |

Re: JJ with QQ on board
With MP only having 1BB left after his flop bet I think raising to isolate him and get him all in is this way to go. Even passive players tend to start spew when they're almost out of cash. Nice hand!
