I dunno but when i told my nan i played internet poker she frowned and i am in her bad books now. This puzzles me coz she blows like 50 - 100 a week on bingo. Double standard granny alert

[/ QUOTE ] True. That said, adamstewart is right - it's much more acceptable than it's ever been. People still (rightly) have a negative reaction to compulsion or addiction, but I think gambling as recreation is fairly accepted, at least in most places. |

Gambling is looked down upon because some people lose all the money they have, sell everything they own and then lose that ass well. Casinos are similar to tobacco companies, they sell you a product that's not good for you and make millions, yet we allow it.
Talking mainly about the -ev games, not poker. |
