Default 2/4 rake

Hello, I was just wondering if someone with a significant amount of 2/4 hands in their pokertracker database could give me some information on how much rake they've paid over how many hands.

I am trying to figure out how much bb/100 hands rakeback will add to my current rate. Thanks in advance.

My affiliate has me down for a little under 1200 dollars in rake for ~13500 hands. At 25% back and 4 tabling, that averages out to about 5.30 an hour. Pokertracker has me making substantially less rake, only about 870 dollars, but the difference must be from how Party and its skins calculate rake and how Pokertracker calculates it.

Apparently they still haven't fixed a bug where split pots in pt count towards your entire amount of rake.

Thanks.

Is there anyone who has done research on this and found out how much it would equate to in terms of bb/100 hands. Also, if there are more of you who could post your rake stats and hands played it would help out alot. Any replies would be appreciated.

The rake for me is generally around 2.2BB/100, but that doesn't account for pt's bug. Just follow the canadian nerd's directions, he's usually pretty good about nerdy things.

You can't use the main "rake" part of the main screen on PT.

That number is a reflection of the rake on the pots you win. But, rakeback is a reflection of the total rake taken in hands you were dealt.

Since, on average, we 2p2ers tend to win fewer pots than our fair share (because of the tightness gap between us and our opponents) we actually get more of our rake back than the percentage would indicate.

To accurately determine your rakeback / 100 (after a significant sample size) go to the "game notes" tab, and use this forumla on the data, AFTER you have clicked "get all" (to include all hands):

(Rake * rakeback% * 100) / (APH * Number of hands)

At 2/4, my value is $2.13/100.

There is this rake calculator, but in my experience it has been a bit off (almost always over estimates)

Over 3,752 Party Poker 2/4 hands I have in my database (a small sample size I know, but I'm sure average rake doesn't fluctuate all that much), I have rake attributed to me of about $350 (this is using the method that Party uses to calculate rakeback). That comes to a rake of about $9.32 per 100 hands. Assuming a 25% rakeback, you're going to get $2.33 or so per 100 hands, or .58 BB/100 at 2/4. These are all approximations, of course, but this should give you a general idea. Also, these numbers are for full 2/4 tables - if you play 6 max, rakeback will be much more than this.

Also, what the hell is with your avatar? That's scary.
