don't raise AJ preflop 9 handed. patience!

given that you raised preflop your flop bet was OK. if they like this flop they will call and you can be done with it, seems like you'd have a decent shot at taking it.

i know it's tempting to call the tiny flop raise, but it puts you in no-mans land. the pot is protected since he's allin, you know UTG is calling too and even if you invest the money to bluff him out MP1 still gets all the way to the river.

on the turn, taking another shot is HORRIBLE because, again, the pot is protected so even if you do get him to fold, you may not get anything to show for it.

Raising A Js MP 9-handed is borderline, but not horrible. It should not be your standard play. I usually don't automatically continue bet if it's more than 3-handed. I check the flop. Since you bet, fold to the raise. You are not last to act and it could get you into alot of trouble.

I don't mind the pf raise but ONLY if you don't have a problem letting go of the hand if you don't hit anything, which apparently you do.

I have no problem with the continuation bet either but you HAVE to dump it if you get the slightest bit of resistance considering you have absolutely nothing, not even a good draw.

Take a shot at the turn? For what, if he folds all that does is lock you up with the guy who pushed. If he calls, you're screwed.

suppose you limp AJs EP
and SB raises (no reason to his raise)

do you call w/ position on him if others left to act?

No.

A raise out of the blinds from a reasonable opponent has AJ crushed. (AKs, JJ - AA)
