Default Re: Sorry Dynasty, I disagree. Bellagio offers other plusses

I usually take about three hours to lose $200 or so at the Bellagio, but get a lot of action. In contrast, play at Mandalay ($1-2 blinds) or Monte Carlo is much tighter generally, it takes me longer to lose the same $200 and is less fun.

Am I supposed to take this response seriously?

I agree the poster was wrong to say some of the things he said. The 1-5 however is a $5 max.

$4 max on all raked games at Mirage/Bellagio from my understanding except their $1-5.

Lately when I go to Bellagio I'm either in the 8-16 hold'em or 4-8 stud. But I just called to double check if my memories of 1-5 stud were off. They weren't.

To say they rake more then $5 I agree is ludicrous.

Best

Howard

While I agree with CEO about playing where you have fun and think you have the best chance to make some money; from my own experience, I think all 4-8 games in Las Vegas are very soft during swing shift and graveyard. Some day time games can be rock gardens, but even these can be played for both fun & profit. YMMV.

Best of Luck

Hi Howard:

I called the Bellagio mamager and spoke to the shift manager. She told me the rake was $4. Thus that's why I posted the $4 figure.

Best wishes,
Mason

Innocent mistake on Susie's (sp) part. I'm sure she's got a lot more to worry about then a 1-5 stud game.

Best

Mason, I am sorry you don't READ the posts, but QUALIFIERS are words that have meaning...Sorry, I haven't been to the WSOP yet this year...when I was there last year, I remember checking and the 1-5 spread limit stud game was a dollar higher max rake than the other games...perhaps this has changed. However, the SPIRIT of this post was to remind players to LOOK at the costs when deciding!

After reading more of the posts, I guess I was right...and I also said MAY be higher! READ PLEASE!

Relax...no one but you mentioned my website, but THANKS!

Hi Howard:

Susie told me tonight that she gave me the wrong figure on the phone. The max rake at $1-$5 stud is $5.

Best wishes,
Mason

Default Wow ...... Pokerscene, you mean the WSOP was at Bellagio ?

Wow .... Pokerscene, you checked on the rake last year when you went to the Bellagio for the WSOP ?

Wow .... are you going to cover the WSOP this year also, to make sure that none of the poker players have any problems AND if they do Pokerscene will make sure that justice is served ???

Is your faithful paid sidekick KINKYDAWG going to be there too ?
